At Cavalier Farm, we offer boarding for horses of all levels in a welcoming and well-maintained environment. Whether you ride for fun, take lessons, or are preparing for shows, our goal is to provide consistent care, a safe home, and a supportive barn community.

We offer four boarding options to meet the needs of every horse and rider:

Basic Board

Perfect for owners who want reliable care and a comfortable home for their horse while enjoying riding on their own schedule.

  • Daily turnout (weather permitting)

  • Blanket changes

  • Access to arenas and farm facilities

Full-Service Board

Designed for owners who want extra support and attention for their horse, with all daily care included.

  • Grooming

Training Board

Ideal for horses and riders seeking consistent guidance and professional development. Programs are tailored to each horse and rider’s goals.

  • Regular training rides

  • Lessons and skill development

  • Optional show preparation

Consignment Board

For horses being offered for sale or lease, we provide professional care and support to present your horse at its best.

  • Regular training rides

  • Marketing support and buyer coordination

  • Trial rides as needed

Cavalier Farm is a USHJA Recognized Riding Academy offering lessons from beginners to advanced riders.

Lessons

At Cavalier Farm, we offer riding lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are just starting out, returning to riding, or looking to refine your skills in the hunter/jumper ring, our goal is to help each rider build confidence, strong fundamentals, and a love for horses.

Our mother–daughter team brings over 50 years of combined experience, providing instruction that is safe, structured, and tailored to each rider’s goals.

Lesson Options

  • Private Lessons: One-on-one attention to develop skills and address individual goals.

  • Semi-Private/Group Lessons: Learn with others at a similar level while receiving expert guidance.

  • Beginner-Friendly Lessons: A welcoming introduction for riders new to horses or riding.

What You’ll Learn

  • Correct riding position and flatwork fundamentals

  • Jumping and course work (for appropriate levels)

  • Horsemanship and horse care

Showing:

Cavalier Farm participates in schooling shows, local one-day shows, and multi-day “A” shows, giving riders opportunities to gain experience at all levels. Our riders compete at top venues including:

  • Princeton Show Jumping

  • Saratoga

  • Fieldstone

  • Fairfield County Hunt Club

  • Old Salem Farm

  • HITS

  • World Equestrian Center (Florida & Ohio)

  • Fox Lea Farm (Venice, Florida)

Riders are guided through the entire show process — from preparation at home to the ring — with support tailored to their experience and goals. Whether it’s a first schooling show or a high-level rated circuit, Cavalier Farm helps riders build skill, confidence, and competitive success.

Leasing:

Leasing is an excellent way for riders to gain experience and additional saddle time. Cavalier Farm offers a selection of well-trained horses suitable for a variety of riders and goals.

Leasing allows riders to:

  • Develop independence

  • Prepare for horse ownership
